Its gentle enough to not cause any irritation but works so well at brightening and evening out my skin tone over time. I feel like it works relatively quickly (within a few weeks I noticed improvements!). Its got a lovely citrusy scent and the serum texture itself is lightweight and gel-like. It sinks into my skin well without stickiness and works well with other products. I've already repurchased this and I hope to never run out!
