They lighten and smooth the skin, effectively neutralizing yellow tones in my pale complexion. I wouldn't recommend this for dark skin tones, as it may cause a whitewashed effect. It has a matte finish without being too drying, a subtle scent, and is very affordable, making it a worthwhile purchase.
