They are quite sheer, which is nice if you want to go for a subtler look but still want to sparkle. You do not need a lot of the product either. Just a little swipe gives you a nice sparkle to play with.

I have the shade D3 and it is a very pretty purple to blue shifty sparkly shadow that can be used as a topper or a highlight. Was very impressed with it. the base is semi transparent but has a bit of white. Hard to capture on camera, looks better irl!
