The texture is totally different from those thick matte ones, it goes on as a lightweight liquid and sets down matte without feeling cakey or heavy. A little really does go a long way here! Just tap out a small amount and you’ll get a smooth, even base that still covers nicely.
It also plays really well with other lip products. I’ve layered tints and oils over it and it stays put without breaking apart or sliding around, which is a huge win.
Quick heads-up: it has a slight minty tingle when you apply it -

Anni09 beige roseJanuary 29, 2026I’ve been on the hunt for a good lip base and I really feel like this is the best so far ! Different to the other ones that are more matte moussey this one is a liquid that dries down matte but still thin (if you don’t apply too much ! just use a bit and blend it out for the best thin base it still covers well no worries). It doesn’t interfere or get disturbed if you apply a tint or oil product on top. I have it in shade 09 Beige rose because I didn’t want a straight up concealer shade, on my cool toned skin it’s still a good base shade but you can also use it in a lip combo with a different tone in the middle of the lips! I feel like its pretty accurate to the swatches. But beware it has a minty feel and idk if it was just mine but it’s a bit difficult to close the cap.
