Taylor SilvaBeautiful, Vintage ColorMay 12, 2026Beautiful, vintage color with expert protection. UVB protection is called at SPF 25 to keep the formulation from being too thick, pasty, and from having a sunscreen taste.
Now, I will say, I'm not the biggest fan of the texture. The hydrogenated polyisobutene/polyisobutene keeps those liquid bases in wax form, rather than being more of glossy balm like Ingu lip balms. This is more of a lipstick-lipbalm hybrid. It has a pretty appearance, though, which is my main concern. I actually don't feel it on my lips for the most part, strangely, and if doesn't come off my lips during eating or drinking. The shine is lovely. The shine is almost synthetic. It's worlds above Ingu's glassiness, but MizuMi still beats them both with glassiness with their Glassy Lip Masks.
You may find the texture a downside, but it still is quite lightweight for what it is. The cost for what this product is though?! This truly is a quality product though. And I am in love with this color. I would love a lip oil in this exact shade. It's so lovely.
Major downside: expect to "work" with the lip balm on where you place it. Once you nail it, it looks lovely. Exactly like a lipstick. You know exactly what I mean. Reapplication was actually minimal compared to most SPF glosses and balms! Surprisingly! Quality, hidden find! I want to try the other shades.
