It is a little thick to spread, but it dries down to a thin layer. I only wore it for about am hour. It started to peel a little by my nose which felt a little itchy and annoying. The instructions say you can wear the mask overnight, but I personally don't think I'll try that. I used the mask over my usual night-time skin care products. It peeled off easily and didn't pull out any hairs when I accidentally got some on my eyebrows. I was impressed with how smooth and glowy my skin was afterwards. I think this will definitely be great to lock in other moisturizing products and give extra glow to the skin!
